Management Team

Susan Malik, President

Susan is the President of Clear Insight with overall responsibility for the vision and strategic direction of the company.  Susan provides leadership and management with a specific focus on client success, business development and marketing.

Susan has over 25 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur, founding and developing several companies in Canada and the United States.  She has a wide range of business expertise in such diverse areas as information systems, banking/finance, management consulting, training and education.

Prior to starting her own businesses, Susan worked as a management consultant for Grant Thornton and provided advice and counsel to small and medium size businesses.

Susan is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and received a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Toronto.  She has continued her education and received numerous certifications in the areas of finance, technology and management.

Bob Gill, Vice President Professional Services

As the Vice President of Professional Services, Bob’s primary responsibility is to oversee the team responsible for the delivery of services to Clear Insight’s national and international clients.

With 15 years experience in software implementations, Bob brings proven practice, leadership and drive to all projects. He leads our services team using our Agile/Scrum delivery approach. He works with clients to collaborate on a product backlog identifying their prioritized needs and managing all features through development to production. With strong communication and transparency, clients are involved in all aspects of the solution delivery to ensure it exceeds their expectations. Bob holds several professional credentials, including PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, Scrummaster, along with his degree in Computing Science.

With experience across energy, event planning, telecommunications, engineering, construction, healthcare and airlines, he offers management consulting expertise along with technology guidance to drive further success.

Ian Margerison, Vice President Business Development

Ian Margerison is Clear Insight’s Vice President of Business Development, responsible for driving growth of product sales and professional services to our international base of clients through various sales and marketing initiatives.

Mr. Margerison has over 20 years designing and delivering business analytics and business information technology solutions to organizations of all sizes across North America, including international consulting in Europe, South America and Africa.

The first 17 years of his career was invested with Nielsen Marketing Research.  As Vice President of Business Technology and Decision Support Services he led a team of 100+ and was responsible for business strategy, product development and the delivery of business analytics solutions to North American Consumer Packaged Goods Fortune 500 manufacturers and retailers.

Ian has a specialist degree computer science and a minor in Commerce from the University of Toronto, and also carries numerous professional development certificates in areas of leadership, sales, marketing and technology.

Mr. Margerison’s executive experience in a variety of high-technology, entrepreneurial and business development roles enables him to quickly understand business needs and provide effective strategic solutions to our clients.
